Established in June, 2010, Airborne Rescue Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that facilitates free air transportation through volunteer pilots for financially distressed passengers with medical and humanitarian needs. We also provide other humanitarian flights as outlined in our Mission Statement below.
Airborne Rescue is funded entirely through the generosity of foundations, corporations and private donors. Your tax-deductible donation will enable us to connect more volunteer pilots with passengers in need.
Provide free non-emergency air transportation for people with life threatening illnesses for the purpose of evaluation, diagnoses and treatment when financial conditions merit and suitable medical facilities are not available near their homes.
Provide emergency air evacuation for abused, neglected and abandoned pets that are in imminent danger of continued abuse or are at risk of being euthanized after every alternative means of transportation has been exhausted.
Provide humanitarian relief flights during national emergencies, natural disasters or other humanitarian crises. Assist local law enforcement and local humanitarian agencies with the timely delivery and distribution of essential emergency relief supplies and assist in the evacuation of displaced and injured individuals.
Promote and advocate the vital role General Aviation plays in our national security, infrastructure and economic vitality by providing an annual $1,000 flight training scholarship to a deserving high school student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and has expressed an interest in pursuing a career in aviation.
AIRBORNE RESCUE SOCIETY HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE AS A 501(C)(3) TAX-EXEMPT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
